mighty alien is a band & recording project initiated by independent artist roland lm reiter. the first album follow me? was released as a digital album in 2015. the single “heading for the sun” peaked at #21 in the Austrian indie charts.

in 2018 and 2019, mighty alien will release new tracks as well as a new album called your inner light.

mighty alien’s songs revolve around the topic of reaching, leaving – or longing for – different places in life. the musical style is heavily influenced by mighty alien’s favourite artists – the beatles, the byrds, t.rex, elliott smith, etc.
